Our Mission
Baltimore Village Corporation's mission is to serve as a catalyst for change in underserved communities by developing affordable housing, resources, and workforce opportunities to economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in Baltimore City.
Our History
Baltimore Village Corporation was established in 2022. We recognized the need for a more communal based program in the City of Baltimore and strived to make this organization come into fruition.
Our Vision
Baltimore City is comprised of 250+ unique communities, of which only less than 25% have a physically active community center or headquarters.
The Baltimore Village Corporation desires to serve as a "Beacon of Light" to communities in Baltimore City thru guidance, support and volunteerism. Our goal is to serve those more than 200 neighborhoods by providing leadership training, meeting space, technical support, and resource referrals in helping empower communities to grow and thrive.
The Baltimore Village Corporation is also poised to provide communities with effective organizing and advocacy strategies that will address beautification, sanitation, workforce development and crime reduction.
